New LED Division: with effect from May 1st

03.04.2008: With effect from May 1st the activities of Lexedis Lighting will be integrated into the Ledon brand of the new Zumtobel LED Division.

As of the financial year 2008/2009, the activities of the former LED start-up company Ledon Lighting (Lustenau), Lexedis Lighting and Tridonic Optoelectronics (Jennersdorf) will be integrated into the Ledon brand of the Zumtobel Group's LED Division.

The activities of Lexedis Lighting will be integrated  in the new LED Division so that Lexedis XED products will be marketed in future under the Ledon brand.

Ledon thus positions itself as a group wide LED specialist that continually drives the development of new LED technologies in an application oriented way, in order to open up new business segments such as furniture and showcase lighting, medical technology and the automotive industry.

Thus a flexible and effective platform for planned growth within the LED sector will be created within the Zumtobel Group.
