28.04.2006: On 28 April 2006, throwing a great party, LEXEDIS Lighting moved into its new business premises at the extended Technology Centre in Jennersdorf.

On 28 April 2006, the Jennersdorf Technology Centre was officially inaugurated as the sixth economic centre of excellence in Burgenland/Austria. The first earth for the extension of the existing building was turned in May 2005. In the past twelve months, the existing area has been almost doubled and now the building work is completed.

As well as existing Lumitech and TridonicAtco, LEXEDIS has now moved into its new premises. The company benefits from the pronounced opto-electronic focus of the location and is supported in Jennersdorf by a competent network in this field of technology. Guests from around the world attended the celebration. Among them was Mr. Yuzo Saito, Executive Vice President of Toyoda Gosei from Japan, who greeted the audience in his native language.

In a round of interviews, Dr. Stefan Tasch, Managing Director of LEXEDIS, Dr. Roland Michal, COO TridonicAtco, and DI Jürg Zumtobel, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Zumtobel Group, answered interesting questions about the importance of the Jennersdorf location for research and development of new lighting technologies. Apart from that, Governor Hans Niessl emphasised the economic impulses, which the newly moved-in companies will provide to the region.
